When looking for a therapist, it’s important to find one you will work well with. Therapists are also very unique people with differing approaches. So, you might want to meet a few to test for compatibility. This exploration can get costly so to help reduce this financial burden, I offer your first session half priced.

Individual sessions can be adapted to Walk and Talk Nature-based therapy within Simcoe County. Nature-based therapy combines therapeutic techniques with the calming effects of natural environments, which can reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall well-being. Being in nature also encourages mindfulness and a deeper connection to oneself and the world.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a well-researched, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma, distressing life experiences, anxiety, and negative beliefs about themselves. Rather than focusing only on talking through the past, EMDR helps the brain reprocess memories that feel “stuck,” allowing them to be stored in a way that is less emotionally overwhelming. Many people experience relief more quickly than with traditional talk therapy, often noticing reduced emotional intensity, increased self-compassion, and a stronger sense of resilience. If you feel weighed down by past experiences or patterns that no longer serve you, EMDR may be a gentle and effective path toward healing.
