Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming. With so many approaches, it’s not always clear what kind of support will truly resonate. Opening up—even to a trained professional—can be intimidating. That’s why the first step in our work together is creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space. I see myself as an agent of change and believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship—so does the research. Built on empathy, trust, and mutual respect, this connection forms the foundation for healing. I’ll relate to you not only as your therapist, but as a genuine human being.

I work well with most people, especially those ready for change but feeling stuck—whether due to anxiety, relationship issues, low self-worth, feeling overwhelmed by everyday life or past trauma. I work particularly well with men (in all forms: adolescents, teens, 2SLGBTQ+ and average dudes, as well as couples, and families.

My background includes a diploma and Bachelor's in Peace and Conflict Studies, a Bachelor of Social Work, and advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, and Emotion Focused Therapy. I’m currently completing a Master of Social Work focused on ethics and clinician competence.

Prior to private practice, I spent 10 years as a case manager supporting youth, individuals, and families, many facing serious mental illness and housing precarity. In essence, my role was to assist people move from homelessness and the struggles that cause it an come with it, into a more healthy and adaptive functioning and housing stability.

Outside of work, I’m a dad, husband, son, and brother who loves family time, canoeing, biking, fishing, hiking, and anything outdoors.
